My work reflects journeys made along the rivers, estuaries and coastline of the South West of England.

Whether on foot, or in an open canoe or kayak, opportunities arise to view places both familiar and new from different perspectives.

Changing tides, weather and seasons combine to inspire me.

I use a range of media in my work; from graphite, pen and ink and watercolour studies to large canvases, upon which I work mainly in acrylics. Photography also plays an important part in recording my journeys, whether as one off images or as part of a diary.
